Official Incorporation of VietCham Singapore

The Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (VietCham Singapore) is pleased to announce that we have officially been incorporated as an independent, non-profit organisation in Singapore under the legal name of “VietCham (The Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce Ltd.)”.

With this official legal status, VietCham Singapore is now recognised by the Singapore government and governed by the relevant local laws and regulations. Our charter members include the senior management of some of the largest Vietnamese companies in Singapore (such as FPT Asia Pacific, YKVN and VinaCapital), Singaporean companies (such as KenRidge Asia, Eames Capital and Epsilon Mobile) as well as other Vietnamese executives, professionals and entrepreneurs in Singapore. We are currently in the process of formalising our membership structure as well as partnerships with other chambers of commerce, trade associations andgovernment agencies in Singapore and overseas. Pursuant to our Constitution, membership of VietCham Singapore shall be open to any Vietnamese corporations and professionals based in Singapore, as well as Singaporean companies and organisations with an economic interest in Vietnam that agree with VietCham Singapore’s objectives and satisfy the qualifications and criteria for membership to be determined by our Board of Directors in early 2016. Invitations for membership registration will be sent out thereafter.
