[Announcement] VietCham New Chief Executive Officer

Dear Board of Directors, Advisory Panel and Valued Members,

The Constitution of the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (VietCham Singapore) sets the election of the Chief Executive in every odd year, and the election of other members of the Board of Directors in every even year, to ensure the continuity of the association’s leadership. As such, this year (2017), our first Chief Executive, Mr. Vo Hoang Hai, has stepped down from his post.

Today, I am excited to announce that Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh (Ms. Ann) has been elected as the new Chief Executive of VietCham Singapore, by our Board of Directors, which is comprised of 9 members, including representatives of several notable companies in our community such as Bright Capital, Bunge Asia, Eames Capital, FPT Asia Pacific, KenCare, Vietcombank, and YKVN.

Ms. Ann’s term of office shall commence today, 14 February 2017 and shall end at the annual general meeting in 2019 pursuant to Article 38 of the Constitution. As the Chief Executive, Ms. Ann is vested by the Constitution with the role & authority, among other things, to appoint, head, and have the general direction of the Executive Committee of VietCham, and, together with the Executive Committee, manage the day-to-day executive functions, management, and general administration of the organization in accordance with Constitution, by-laws and resolutions made by Members and the Board.

Ms. Ann is the founder and CEO of KenCare Group which includes 5 company members: KenRidge Asia (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., Viet-Sing International Cooperation JSC, Regenerative Biology & Medicine JSC), KenCare Vietnam Pte.Ltd. and P’CELL Medical Spa (2013). KenCare core business is skincare and bio-medicine based on Stem Cells Technology. Kencare has in-house research team which owns key patents in stem cells industry. She has also served a member of the Board of Directors of VietCham Singapore since our inception.

Ms. Ann is a successful business woman and has strong commitment to building business community. I strongly believe that with her vision and leadership, she would bring much values to the organization and open up new chapters of growth for VietCham Singapore, fulfilling our mandate to promote business interest of our members and contribute to the thriving business relationship between Vietnam and Singapore.
